We believe legal services should be priced clearly, predictably, and without surprises. Below you will find how our fees are structured, when fixed pricing applies, how payments work, and how legal aid (oikeusapu) is handled.
Our standard hourly rate for most legal assignments and advisory work is:
€250 + 25.5% VAT
Hourly billing typically applies to advisory work, document review, correspondence, negotiations, and matters where the scope cannot be reliably defined in advance.
In many cases, a fixed fee or lump sum can be agreed once the scope of the matter is clear. This is common in immigration matters, structured applications, and appeals.
| Type of Matter | Indicative Fee (excl. VAT) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Immigration proceedings and related correspondence | From €1,000 - €1,500 | Includes appeals, responses to authority requests, and other matters initiated by immigration authorities (Migri, ELY Centre); pricing depends on complexity, evidence, and procedural stage |
| Company formation and registrations | From €1,800 + VAT (if applicable) + official registration fees | Pricing depends on company type and scope. Official authority fees are billed separately. |
| Structured applications | Agreed case-by-case | Requires initial paid consultation |
| Ongoing legal coordination | Monthly or project-based | Defined in a written agreement |
Scheduled consultations are billed as a fixed session and must be paid in advance before the appointment takes place.
Consultation fee:
€250 + 25.5% VAT
Consultations are used to assess your situation, explain legal options, identify risks, and determine whether further representation or a fixed-fee arrangement is appropriate.
In cases where a client cannot afford legal services, representation may be provided under the Finnish legal aid system (oikeusapu), subject to eligibility and acceptance of the case.
Legal aid arrangements are always agreed in advance. Once a matter is accepted under legal aid, the appointed lawyer submits the legal aid application on behalf of the client.
Before any substantial work begins, fees, billing method, and expected scope are explained clearly. We do not start significant assignments without mutual understanding of costs and responsibilities.
