About Jouni

Jouni Lehtimäki is a Finnish lawyer with decades of professional experience in court practice, legal advisory work, and public roles. He has worked as a practicing attorney since the early 1990s, handling a broad range of civil, business, and dispute-related matters, and is known for extensive courtroom exposure.

In addition to legal practice, he served as a Member of the Finnish Parliament (1999-2003), gaining first-hand experience of legislative processes and public decision-making. His career has also included international legal advisory work, most notably in Kosovo, where he later served as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in Finland.

This combination of long-term legal practice, parliamentary experience, and international public roles has shaped a pragmatic, procedure-aware approach to law, particularly in matters involving courts, authorities, and institution-facing or cross-border contexts.
